Deanna M. Brown-Palmer passed away in the morning of February 1, 2010. She is survived by her husband Rodney, son Scotty (20), daughter Lindsey (17), and twins Ryan and Tyler (15).
Deanna was born an only child in Ohio on September 21, 1969. Deanna and her Mom moved to Central Florida in 1981 and was a graduate of Boone High School.
She and Rodney initially met in 1983. They were reunited and were together for 16 years.
Deanna worked for Credit Services for 21 years and all the while pulled double duty as a home maker to her 4 beloved kids.
Deanna’s initial diagnosis was in Dec, 2006 after ignoring a tiny marble lump in her breast she discovered in 2005. The diagnosis came as stage 3. From her diagnosis up to a month before she passed, Deanna endured radiation and chemo treatments. The cancer spread so bad through the years that it spread to her back fracturing her lower spine and spread to multiple organs. Even during her treatments she would go strait from her treatments to her kid’s band practice, baseball, and planning birthday parties. Deanna had an amazing dedication to her kids and was the Super Mom every kid would love to have.
Five days before she passed away she was told she was facing complete liver failure and may have 2 weeks to live.
Deanna and Kim were friends and Deanna’s initial diagnosis was only a month apart from Kim’s second diagnosis. Kim lost her battle to breast cancer in May ’08.
Beyond the emotional heartache the family has experienced during Deanna’s struggle they have also experienced considerable financial loss as a result of the medical bills, loss of work, etc. If you would like to help Deanna’s family recover from their losses, please consider donating using the PayPal link below:
