The following people make up Team Kimpossible
2010 3-day, Tampa Bay

Gayle Bouterse, Team Captain, Crew – Gayle walked the Breast Cancer 3-Day with Kim in 2002 in Boca Raton, FL. Following Kim’s passing in May 2008 Gayle was instrumental in putting together Team Kimpossible for the 2008 and 2009 walks. Gayle is giving her donors and her feet a break this year and crewing for the 2010 3-day.

Ashleigh Ann Crites, Crew – Ashleigh is also taking a break in the 2010 3-day and participating in the crew activities. Not to make it sound like crew is easy. People who have done both say crew is just as intense as walking the 60 miles.

Andi Torres, Crew - Andi walked in 2008 after Kim’s passing and took a break in 2009 and instead took a cheerleader role. Along with the other Team Kimpossible cheerleaders, they left their mark on the 3-day. Everybody knows the Team Kimpossible cheerleaders!

Sheila Palmer, Crew - Sheila also walked in 2008 and like Andi, took a break in 2009 but cheered her butt off giving Team Kimpossible a name on the streets of St. Pete in 2009!

Dylan Bouterse, Walker – Dylan and Gayle will be alternating walk/crew responsibilities moving forward. Doubling up on the fundraising and training walks last year was a bit tough. This arrangement makes it easier on their donors and their schedules when it comes time for training walks. Dylan is even more involved in the cause this year heading up the Team Kimpossible web page, Facebook presence, and a recently launched online store! See the logo in the top right corner of the page and buy lots! (yes, I wrote this in the 3rd person and yes, it was strange)

Other team members – There are other walkers who have verbally committed but have not signed up yet. Please sign up and send us your intro for the team info page. Use the “Contact Us” link found in the top menu.

2002 breast cancer 3-day, boca raton, fl

Kimberly Teems Marques, Walker – This was Kim’s first and only 3-day walk. Kim was in remission from her first bout with breast cancer when she did the Boca walk. Kim is our inspiration and motivation behind Team Kimpossible.

Gayle Bouterse, Walker – This was Gayle’s first 3-day walk. Gayle participated as Kim’s best friend and strongest supporter. Because of Kim and this walk she is dedicated to continuing Kim’s fight to raise money for breast cancer research and education.

Gayle Bouterse, Team Captain - Gayle led Team Kimpossible through all 60 miles yet another year in Tampa.

Amy Dyer, Walker - The ’09 Tampa 3-day was Amy’s first year participating in the breast cancer 3-Day. She has been extremely enthusiastic to be involved in this event and even though she was not fortunate enough to meet Kim, she is very connected to our cause.

Ashleigh Ann Crites, Walker - 2 time walker participating in the Breast Cancer 3-day. Ashleigh joined Team Kimpossible in ’08 as Gayle’s friend and was inspired to participate again in ’09. Ashleigh is a very spirited person (currently a big Florida Gator’s sports fan and attends Santa Fe in Gainesville) and brings a great smile and overall joy to the team.

Dylan Bouterse, Walker - Dylan met Kim through Gayle many years ago and was a very enthusiastic cheerleader for Team Kimpossible in Tampa in 2008 along with our son Jarrett. Dylan was so inspired through the 2008 breast cancer 3-Day experience he decided right then he would walk the 3-Day in 2009. And so he did.
