The following people make up Team Kimpossible 2010

Gayle Bouterse, Team Captain, Crew (Sweep ’10)
Gayle walked the Breast Cancer 3-Day with Kim in 2002 in Boca Raton, FL. Following Kim’s passing in May 2008 Gayle was instrumental in putting together Team Kimpossible for the 2008 and 2009 walks. Gayle gave her donors and her feet a break in 2010 and participated as sweep crew for the 2010 3-day with Ashleigh.

Lesli Mather, Walker/2010 Sponsored Survivor – This was my first 3 Day walk. I love to walk and have done several smaller walks. I found out on Sept 23 2009 that I had Breast Cancer, surgery and treatments followed soon after. Kim was my friend and neighbor for several years and I feel she was a big inspiration for me through all this. Walker, Tampa, ’10
Jon Mather, Walker (1st year!) -This was my first year participating in the 3 day walk. I was touched by cancer last Sept when my wife, of 28 years was diagnosed with breast cancer. This has been a very emotional experience for me. I want to be part of the cure. Walker, Tampa, ’10
Amy DyerWalker – Amy joined Team Kimpossible for her first year walking in 2009. She had no previous experience with the event other than word of mouth from friends in Team Kimpossible. She endured the blisters, hot weather, and muscle aches and happily registered to repeat in 2010! Walker, Tampa, ’09

Tom HoffmanWalker (1st year!) – Tom joined the Team Kimpossible cheerleaders on the streets of St. Pete in 2009. His experience during the 3-day led him to be inspired and he registered to walk the 2010 event. We were thrilled to have Tom on the team waking with us in 2010! Stalker, Tampa ’09

Jennifer SchwabWalker – The 2010 3-day was Jennifer’s 4th year in a row doing the 3-Day. Jennifer says, “Every year it has more meaning to me but can’t forget the 1st year I did the walk. We got relocated to a parking garage in Tampa by Ebor City on day 2 of the 2007 3-day. We got no sleep that night, we had to sleep on the concrete floor and it was hot in the garage and loud due to the bars. They bused us back to camp around 5 a.m. the next morning so we could start day 3.Even though that was a bad night for all the walkers who camped, it made my 1st 3-day special. I mean who can forget sleeping in a parking garage….gross.” Walker, Tampa, ’07

Ashleigh Ann Crites, Crew (Sweep ’10) – Ashleigh also took a break from walking with the 2010 3-day by participating in the crew activities. Not to make it sound like crew is easy. People who have done both say crew is just as intense as walking the 60 miles. Gayle and Ashleigh left a great impression with the walkers with their Boobaneers sweep van. Walker, Tampa, ’08

Andi TorresCrew (Route Safety/Moto ’10) – Andi walked in 2008 after Kim’s passing and took a break in 2009 and instead took a cheerleader role. Along with the other Team Kimpossible cheerleaders, they left their mark on the 3-day. Everybody knows the Team Kimpossible cheerleaders! Now they all know the Team Kimpossible moto crew too! Sheila PalmerCrew (Route Safety/Moto ’10) – Sheila also walked in 2008 and like Andi, took a break in 2009 but cheered her butt off giving Team Kimpossible a name on the streets of St. Pete in 2009! Walker, Tampa, ’08

Dylan Bouterse, Walker – Dylan and Gayle will be alternating walk/crew responsibilities moving forward. Doubling up on the fundraising and training walks last year was a bit tough. This arrangement makes it easier on their donors and their schedules when it comes time for training walks. Dylan became even more involved in the cause in 2010 heading up the Team Kimpossible web page, Facebook presence, and a recently launched online store! See the logo in the top right corner of the page and buy lots! (yes, I wrote this in the 3rd person and yes, it was strange) Stalker, Tampa, ’08
